Special Needs Toy Lending Library

The library provides developmental resources and support to parents and family members of children with disabilities. (Pictures) Toys are available for long term loan and allow fun and age appropriate activities to aid in the development process.

Pediatric seating, positioning, and mobility aids are also available for loan. Parents can learn ways to stimulate their child through active play in their home setting with the help of a therapist. The library also has a large selection of educational materials for parents and family members to check out.

The Lending Library also sponsors hands-on educational opportunities for parents, such as switch making, toy adaptation, and making overlays for communication devices.
